Since 2023, the EAPC has been working intensively on the topic of artificial intelligence and its impact on political communication as well as its influence on election campaigns. For this reason, the Europe Conference in Berlin focused entirely on this topic. As a result of the conference, the EAPC is setting up an expert group on this topic, which will report to the members on an ongoing basis. Are you interested in the results? The war in Ukraine is bringing unimaginable suffering. At the same time, it is creating a situation in Europe that has not existed since the last century. EAPC condemns this assault – which disregards human and international law in every form – on a democratic, self-determining country.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the European Association of Political Consultants, the EAPC designed a comprehensive book on the development of democracy in Europe, on campaigning, the role of women in politics and much more. At the end of June, the second meeting of Austrian EAPC members and other industry colleagues took place on the rooftop of Bar Am Hof. Due to other important appointments, such as the Danube Regions Conference, several friends were absent, but the meeting was nevertheless a great success. At this point, a special thank you to Alex Lagger, who was responsible for the organisation and also covered the costs for the catering.
